NEW! CANADIANFILM.CA FILMS
Discover the ‘lost’ years of Canadian cinema.…
Due to popular demand, I am working to share on Canadianfilm.ca, films from the 1920s–1950s, to highlight the deep cultural history of our early Canadian film industry…
"Canadianfilm.ca serves to celebrate the art, style, and history of the men and women that recorded our nation's cinematic past."
From the pre-NFB (National Film Board) years of silent and early sound cinema in Canada, to some of the earliest Canadian films, funded by the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) , and films shot by the Canadian Government Motion Picture Bureau (CGMPB), and don’t miss the, Canadian Cameo Series, produced by Associated Screen News (ASN)!
Because this is a grassroots effort, I am relying on donations from visitors like you, to help keep the projector running. Tell me what you want to see by checking out my latest posts, and articles, or run a search for titles using this link; Library & Archives Canada (click on the phrase; I am a human Go to requested page, to run the search), and browse through the results (over 5000 titles!). Use the ‘Feedback’ link to share suggestions of titles you would like to see most, and help showcase our nation’s cinematic past.
STAY TUNED AS I PREPARE THIS PAGE WITH EXCITING NEW VIDEO CONTENT…
